1. Who we are

astrorakeshjain.in is operated by Voicepe Technologies Private Limited, registered office 79 Panchwati, Udaipur, Rajasthan 313001, India. For the personal data described here we are the data fiduciary — the party that decides why and how it is processed.

This policy covers the website, the readings and reports we prepare, and any account you hold with us. It should be read with the Terms of Service, of which it forms part.

2. What we collect

What you give us

• Name and date of birth. These are the reading. The whole calculation is derived from them and nothing can be prepared without them.
• Gender, where a service asks for it, because some traditional interpretations differ on it.
• Mobile number. Used to sign you in by one-time password and to deliver your report.
• Email address, where you give one, as a second route for delivery and for receipts.
• Details of another person — a child being named, a partner, a business partner — where the reading you order concerns them.
• The content of messages you send us through the contact form or by email.

What we create

• The reading itself, its working, and the report produced from it.
• A record of your orders, and a payment reference for each.

What is collected automatically

• Ordinary technical information sent by your browser — device and browser type, approximate location derived from your IP address, the pages you visited and when.

3. Why we collect it

• To prepare your reading. Name and date of birth are used for the calculation and for nothing else.
• To sign you in. Your mobile number identifies your account and receives the one-time password.
• To deliver your report by WhatsApp, by email, and to the signed-in reports area.
• To take payment and to keep the record of it that the law requires.
• To answer you when you write to us about an order or a report.
• To keep the service working and secure — to find faults, prevent abuse, and understand in general terms how the site is used.
• To meet legal obligations, including tax and accounting requirements.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.

4. Consent and your choices

We process your personal data on the consent you give when you submit your details or place an order, and, where it applies, for the legitimate uses permitted by law — among them meeting a legal obligation and keeping proper records of a transaction.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to support@astrorakeshjain.in. Withdrawing it does not affect processing already carried out, and it may mean we can no longer provide a reading or give you access to reports already prepared. Where the law requires us to retain a record — a payment record, for instance — we will keep that record even after consent is withdrawn.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your account details and your reports for as long as your account is open, so that a report you have paid for stays available to you.

If you ask us to close your account, we delete your account details and reports, except where we are required to keep something: records of payment and tax are retained for the period the law prescribes, and anything needed to establish or defend a legal claim is retained until that matter ends.

Messages you send us are kept only as long as needed to deal with what they are about.

6. Who we share it with

We share personal data only where it is needed to run the service, and only with parties bound to use it for that purpose alone:

• Our hosting provider, which stores the site and its data.
• Our payment gateway, which takes your payment and holds the credentials we never see.
• Messaging and one-time-password providers, which carry the messages that sign you in and deliver your report.
• Professional advisers — accountants and lawyers — where they need it.
• A public authority or court, where the law obliges us to disclose.
• A successor, if our business or a part of it is transferred, on the same terms as this policy.

7. Your rights

Subject to the conditions the law attaches to each, you may ask us to:

• tell you what personal data of yours we hold, and what we have done with it;
• correct anything inaccurate, complete anything incomplete, or update anything out of date;
• delete personal data we no longer need for the purpose it was given for;
• stop processing on the consent you gave, by withdrawing it;
• nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or become incapable of exercising them.

Write to support@astrorakeshjain.in to make any of these requests. We may need to confirm you are who you say you are before we act, usually by the mobile number your account is held against.

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you give us, and you should not supply another person’s details unless you are entitled to.

8. Children and young people

An account may be held, and an order placed, by a person aged 12 or over. A reading may be prepared for any person aged 3 or over.

Where the reading you order concerns a child — a child being named, most often — you confirm that you are entitled to give us that child’s name and date of birth. We use those details only to prepare the reading, and we do not use them for advertising or for tracking of any kind.

9. How we protect it

The site is served over an encrypted connection. Access to accounts is by one-time password to a mobile number rather than by a stored password. Access to stored data is restricted to those who need it to do their work, and our providers are bound to protect what they hold for us.

No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach occurs that affects your personal data, we will act on it and give the notifications the law requires.

10. Cookies and measurement

The site uses only what is needed to work — chiefly to keep you signed in between pages and to remember choices you have made during a reading. Where we use anything to measure how the site is used, it is used in aggregate, to understand which pages are read and where people leave, not to build a profile of you.

Your browser can be set to refuse cookies. If you do refuse them, signing in and continuing a reading across pages may not work.

11. Changes to this policy

We may amend this policy. Where a change is material we will say so on the site, and the date at the head of this page will change. Continuing to use the service after that date is acceptance of the amended policy.
